I am a farmer in the southern part of Norway. We have 45 sows and raise the piglets to slaughter. I have a master degree in animal husbandry from Norwegian University of Life Sciences. My focus is how to produce healthy animals and safe meat through cooperation in the value chain from the barn to the consumer.
I am concerned about minimum use of antibiotics and to protect my pigs from MRSA and other diseases. This is a work I cannot do alone and I will talk about challenges today and in the future.
