Overview

WG1 specific objectives:

  • Mapping existing meat safety and quality assurance schemes
  • Identification of scopes of current and future meat inspection and meat safety assurance system
  • Identification of roles and responsibilities within the meat safety assurance system
  • Mapping competencies of the risk manager in the meat safety assurance system
  • Prioritisation of hazards and setting risk-related targets in the meat chain
