WG3 specific objectives:

  • Assessment of the effectiveness of new tools and methods for detection of carcass contamination
  • Assessment of the significance intervention strategies and alternative methods for animal slaughter and carcass dressing and cutting
  • Assessment of the performance of food safety management systems in abattoirs
  • Risk categorisation of abattoirs
